AccelOps Names Former Cisco Executive Ted Trimble as Vice President of Engineering

Proven IT Engineering Veteran Joins Integrated Data Center Monitoring Leader

SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/06/13 -- AccelOps, Inc., the leader in integrated Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), performance and availability monitoring for on-premise and cloud-based data centers, today announced that it has hired Ted Trimble, a former Cisco executive, as vice president of engineering.

"We are delighted to have Ted join the AccelOps team," said Dr. Partha Bhattacharya, AccelOps co-founder and CTO. "He brings a unique perspective on IT operations, security and networking and will help drive the expansion of our engineering organization as AccelOps accelerates through its next growth phase."

Trimble has more than 25 years of experience managing large enterprise software projects. He comes to AccelOps from the Cloud and Systems Management Group at Cisco, where, as a senior director, he managed Cisco Automation for Cloud, Cisco Cloud Portal, Enterprise Scheduler, Enterprise Orchestrator and Intelligent Automation for SAP products.

Trimble joined Cisco as part of the Tidal Software acquisition. At Tidal, he was responsible for managing development, quality assurance, support and user documentation of all of Tidal's products. Before that, he was vice president of engineering for the Security, Administration and Migration products business unit of NetIQ Corporation, where he managed the development of products that boosted its quarterly revenue growth by 95 percent within four quarters. Before NetIQ, Trimble spent 14 years at BMC Software, where he was vice president of DB2 Solutions, and prior to that served in various operational and support roles for several large enterprise corporations' Information Technology divisions.

"Ted's addition to the management team will help us continue to scale our AccelOps talent," said Flint Brenton, president and CEO of AccelOps. "He will help us drive a set of new initiatives and continue to respond to our customers' requirements with our renowned engineering quality and agility."

"I'm impressed with the team and the award-winning virtual appliance product that AccelOps has built," Trimble said. "It will be exciting to continue to build on the company's success and momentum."
