Salesgenie.com Appoints Pravin Kumar Vice President of Products and Technology and Rod Butters Vice President of Marketing

Kumar will be responsible for managing all product development and operations of Salesgenie.com, a software as a service (SaaS) offering that provides a new approach to sales effectiveness through lead management. Butters will be responsible for overseeing all components of marketing as Salesgenie.com extends its new model for online sales effectiveness management to provide greater capabilities for the mid-tier and enterprise markets. Both will report to Mark Israelsen, President of Salesgenie.com and are based in company’s headquarters in San Carlos, California.

Kumar joins Salesgenie.com with more than 20 years of experience in engineering and product management. Most recently he held the position of Vice President, Products at Ketera Technologies where he drove rapid expansion of its SaaS product line. He has also held senior management roles at SAP Global Marketing, Hotdispatch, and CrossWorlds. Kumar holds a BSEE from University of Maryland at College Park.

Prior to that, Butters served as president of worldwide marketing, sales, and service at Aspect Communications. He has also served as a vice president at Oracle Corporation in the Application Server division. He holds a B.A. and M.S. from the University of Oregon.
